One night in the early fifties, two new parents were preparing for bed when they heard the cries of their young daughter from the next room. They quickly charged into the little girls room to find it seemingly empty, yet her crying continued. "Ali," they shouted her name and for a brief moment panic fell over the young couple until they moved the bed to find their daughter against the wall. She had apparently fell out of bed in her sleep and rolled against the wall and didn't know where she was.

About Subgenre
Every film can be classified into a genre. At Subgenre, we go deeper. Films are more complex than the categories we put them in. One might look at a western as a period film or revenge film or all of the above and they are all correct. By looking deeper into genre we can connect films that may otherwise be hard to compare.
The point of this is simply to look at film in a new way, to find another angle to appreciate the most popular art.
